About
Every city is full of public pitches nobody can find.
There is a cage two streets from you with working floodlights and nobody on it, and there are six people within a kilometre who would have played tonight if they had known. GPDO exists to close that gap.
Why a map first
The hard part was never the social network — it was knowing where you can actually play. So GPDO started by mapping over 1,500 real street pitches across 11 countries, under the names people actually use for them: Bolzplatz, Terrain, Campo, Pista, veldje.
They are on the map the first time you open the app. Nothing about GPDO requires a critical mass of users before it is useful to you.
What GPDO is not
Not a booking platform. GPDO never reserves or pays for a pitch. There are no prices and no payment code in the product. A match is a social meetup at a public pitch — the organiser is responsible for that pitch’s rules and hours.
Not a club-management tool. No fixtures, no squads, no dues, no parent comms. And not a "sports buddy" matcher — you are joining a game at a specific pitch at a specific time, not being paired with a stranger.
What we are betting on
Open-game apps connect strangers but do nothing for a group of mates who already play together. Club tools are far too heavy for a Tuesday kickabout. Follows, chat and open matches in one place covers both, and nobody in the category currently does.
How we are building it
City by city, because the whole thing only works when there are enough people playing near you. All seven interface languages are live, but that is a translation decision, not a promise to launch seven markets at once.
GPDO carries no ads, no advertising identifiers and no third-party analytics, and it runs on European servers.
Talking to us
One address reaches a person, for anything: a bug, a city you want opened, a press question, or a request about your data.

We're opening city by city. Tell us where to go next.
Write us one line with the city you play in. That is how we decide which one opens next — and we will let you know when it does.
