office@gpdo.app

We aim to reply within two working days. If you are writing about your own account, send it from the address the account uses — it is how we know it is you.

Reporting something urgent

Use the in-app report on the post, comment, reel, message or profile: pick a category and say in a line or two what is wrong. It carries the context with it, and a report of child sexual abuse or terrorist content puts the item in front of a moderator straight away.

For anything involving a minor, write to office@gpdo.app with "CHILD SAFETY" in the subject line. Those go to the front of the queue. See the child safety standards.

Delete your account

You do not need to email us for this. It is in the app under Profile → Settings, and there is a page for it that works even if you have already uninstalled.

Questions

The things we get asked most

Do I have to pay for a pitch?

No. Every pitch on GPDO is a free public one. There is no booking and no payment anywhere in the app — you turn up and play.

Does GPDO reserve the pitch for my game?

No, and this matters. A match on GPDO is a social arrangement to meet at a public pitch. Nothing is held for you, and whoever organises the game is responsible for that pitch’s rules and opening hours.

Is GPDO available yet?

Not publicly. It is in a private beta and we are opening city by city. Tell us your city and we will write when it opens.

Which cities are covered?

Over 1,500 pitches across 301 cities in 11 countries are already on the map. See the coverage.

My local pitch is not on the map.

Add it. Drag the map to the spot, pick the sport, attach photos — it goes live once it has been reviewed.

How old do I have to be?

16, in every country GPDO covers — the EU, the EEA and Switzerland. You give your date of birth when you sign up and the check runs on our servers; under 16, signup is refused. Accounts of 16- and 17-year-olds are always private and kept apart from adult accounts — see the child safety standards.

Does GPDO track where I am?

No. Your position is read on your phone while you have the map open and is not stored on our servers. If you would rather not share it at all, set a private home base pin instead. There is no background tracking. More on how we handle data.

Which languages does GPDO work in?

Seven — English, Deutsch, Français, Nederlands, Español, Italiano and Português — picked up from your phone and switchable in settings.

Someone is behaving badly. What can I do?

Report the post, comment, reel, message or the person themselves in two taps, or block them. Blocking is mutual and silent: they cannot see or contact you, you cannot see them, and they are not told. More on safety.

I did not get the password reset email.

Check the spam folder first — that is where it usually is. If it is still missing after a few minutes, make sure you are using the address the account was created with, then write to office@gpdo.app.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Not yet by yourself — the export button is not built. Ask at office@gpdo.app from your account address and we will put it together for you.
